Out of school Care Club

The After School Care Club is based at the Avondale Building in the community room. It runs on a fee paying basis and opens from 3.10pm-5.30pm

Monday to Friday during school term times we provide 40 places. These can be either full time places or casual use.

The club is registered with Ofsted under the Childerens Act 1989, run by a

management committee and qualified staff and operates

appropriate adult ratios.

The aim of the club is to provide a caring and secure

environment within which children can enjoy learning and

playing together beyond the school day. Children are given

the chance to take part in a range of activities, computers and and watching DVDs, as well as an opportunity to do their home work, or just relax in a quiet and safe environment. We must meet the needs of working parents, but also the needs of those parents who want alternative activities and play opportunities for their children.

Split site Transfer Arrangements

Children based at the Linden Building are met at 3.20pm and accompanied on foot to the Avondale Building by club staff members. They take advantage of the crossing patrol on Brownedge Road.
